The Fun Facts
At East Coast Conferences, we’re a close and professional team. We love developing great client relationships and are delighted that our trusted clients ask us to arrange their conferences year after year and send referrals our way too.
As we also pride ourselves on being friendly and fun too, we thought we’d share with you a little info to help you get to know us a bit more…
Amy is best described as honest and organised. Based on her obsession as a kid with Ikea catalogues, many thought she’d go on to Interior Design but conferences came calling. Amy loves the great sense of satisfaction that comes with a very successful conference.
Away from work, she enjoys time at the beach with family, shopping and enjoying a chilled glass of sauvignon blanc with girlfriends. Champagne and her gorgeous two little people make her laugh. And a lottery win would see her visit fascinating places like Africa, Tahiti and Alaska.
Jayne loves being onsite at conferences and seeing all of ECC’s hard work come to fruition. By nature, she’s happy and easy-going.
In another life Jayne may have been a marine biologist. She has a passion for the ocean – not surprising given that she grew up in lighthouses with both her father and Grandfather being lighthouse keepers. That may also explain her favourite ever teacher too; the one she had by correspondence when living on Montague Island (located off the South Coast of NSW). Schoolwork was completed by 10am leaving the rest of the day free which was perfect for such an outdoorsy young kid like Jayne.
She laughs easily and is a great listener too. Flying would be her pick of the superhero powers. And as for those bucket list desires, trekking the Inca Trail, a European trip and a family visit to Disneyland are three she hopes to tick off one day.
At ECC, Jas loves her bosses, travelling and meeting new people. She’s a bit of a gypsy at heart and has travelled to over 40 countries with more adventures and destinations still on the wish list like trekking in Nepal.
In addition to her nomadic spirit. Jasmine is kind and friendly and will follow her heart every time. She may love diversity from a cultural perspective but the same can’t be said for her preferred three fantasy dinner guests – Channing Tatum, Channing Tatum and Channing Tatum! And if he really wanted to make Jas laugh, wine’s the key apparently.
In another life Jas would be a professional traveller. And if a million dollars came her way, she’d open a school in Cambodia for disadvantaged children to provide them with education, food and clothing.
In her downtime Jasmine loves yoga, being outdoors and cooking. And which fictional character would she select for her happily ever after? Why Tarzan of course…she’d make a great Jane.
