Meet The Team
Amy Mcintosh - Principal
Amy has been with East Coast Conferences since 2008. In 2011, she partnered with Jayne to take on ownership of the business.
After completing her Bachelor of Business in Tourism, Amy worked as an Incentive and Conference Manager for one of the country’s leading Incentive and Conference Management firms.
Amy has also worked as a conference manager in London. Following her time in the UK, Amy spent five years in Conference Operations and Sales for a number of hotels and resorts throughout Australia. Amy loves travel and enjoys working in a career where she can travel on a regular basis.
At East Coast Conferences, Amy is involved in all aspects of Conference Management.
Jayne Hindle - Principal
Jayne has been with East Coast Conferences for over a decade, returning to the industry in 2006 having taken some time off to raise her young family. She and Amy have been partners in the business since 2011.
Jayne’s a great multi-tasker – she spent eight years with a large, Brisbane based conference organising firm whilst also completing her Bachelor of Business in Tourism at Southern Cross University. Jayne has exceptional skills in all facets of event management and administration and brings to East Coast Conferences over twenty years of conference and event management experience.
Jayne has arranged conferences with delegates from 100 to those with more than 1500.
Jasmine Durbidge – Conference Manager
Jasmine has been part of the team at East Coast Conferences since 2013. She holds a degree in Recreation and Tourism as well as an Advanced Diploma in Event Management.
‘Jas’ brings to ECC well over a decade of experience in the Conference/Events Industry and has worked for various resorts and boutique properties in NSW.
Jas has arranged everything from smaller conferences with delegate numbers of 20 to those with more than 500 attendees.
Jasmine’s area of speciality is sponsor registration and the management of delegates and speakers. She also supports Amy and Jayne at all conferences. They both describe Jas as a lifesaver who always has a calm and steady presence.
Jodie Mccormick – Sponsorship, Sales & Support
Jodie specialises in sponsorship and exhibition sales and support. She also assists with on-site conference management.
Jodie has been with East Coast Conferences since 2013. Like her ECC colleagues, she has an adventurous spirit which had led to many wonderful travels. After completing high school, Jodie travelled within Australia for two years before moving to the UK and working as a tour operator in London for a few years. London proved to be the ideal base from which to explore and Jodie enjoyed many a European adventure.
Upon her return to Australia, Jodie worked as a Sales & Marketing Manager at STA Travel for seven years. In 2006, Jodie decided to time was right to pack up life in Sydney and experience all that the Coffs Coast had to offer.Jodie loves working in the friendly team environment at ECC.
